Open to all Indonesian citizens, APRIL hopes to spread the message of environmentally sustainable practices through the competition.
More than 60 submissions were received during the month-long contest. The creative themes ranged from “plant trees for the future” to “the forest is our future” to “grow trees, grow people.”
The top three winners and their winning entries are:
Muhammad Givari Ali Imran: Makassar (South Sulawesi)
Nafisa Afrini Mayasari: Pekanbaru (Riau)
Yelmi Nanda: Kuantan Singingi (Riau)
For their efforts, the winners walked away with Xiao Yi cameras and Sakura Koi coloring tools.
Commenting on the raison d’être of the competition, Ali Shabri, RAPP’s Mill Operational Director said, “This is a great event to introduce to people that our company operates in an environmentally-friendly way. Our paper is made from renewable resources that we grow responsibly and in accordance with our business philosophy of being Good for Climate.”
