Enable the Change: RGE Partners TaFF to Support Sustainable Fashion in Singapore

As part of efforts to support sustainable fashion in Singapore, RGE is proud to be a strategic partner of the Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF). RGE and like-minded partners celebrated a big TaFF day on 6 July 2022 with the launch of the ‘Fashion The Change’ Exhibition at The Cocoon Space, ‘Enable the Change Sustainability Summit’, and the launch of ‘Shop the Change’ pop-up store at Design Orchard.

TaFF President Wilson Teo, TaFF CEO Semun Ho, Minister Grace Fu and RGE Vice Chairman Bey Soo Khiang presided of the launch of the Fashion Sustainability Summit 2022.

RGE Vice Chairman Bey Soo Khiang joined TaFF’s President Wilson Teo and Chief Executive Officer Semun Ho to welcome Grace Fu, Singapore’s Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, to tour the ‘Fashion the Change’ exhibit featuring remarkable designs created out of sustainable and recycled materials from Singapore’s talented young creatives dedicated to #sustainablefashion.

Then, Mr Bey and RGE President Tey Wei Lin walked over to TaFF’s ‘Enable the Change Summit’ to enjoy keynote speeches by Minister Grace Fu and Erik Solheim, former United Nations Environment Programme Executive Director.

Lucita Jasmin of APRIL Group, part of the RGE group of companies, also served as a panellist on the ‘From Intent to Results: How Can Fashion Reduce Its Environment Footprint’ moderated by PwC’s Partner, Sustainability & Climate Change Practice Leader Fang Eu-Lin.
