“We’re honoured that APRIL has been recognised for our sustainability work with this award. It acknowledges the efforts of all our staff in translating global goals, such as the UN SDGs, into tangible sustainability practices across our supply chain. The sustainable growth of our business will continue to be driven by our bold and ambitious series of concrete, time-bound and science-based targets that will make APRIL a more sustainable and circular business by 2030,” said Mr. Bey

APRIL 2030 is APRIL’s vision for sustainable development in alignment with the UN SDGs.

This award is a testament to APRIL’s continued efforts in advancing its sustainability agenda and ensuring a positive impact on nature, climate and people through the APRIL2030 targets and commitments. Through these targets, APRIL supports the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and of global climate, biodiversity and development objectives.

“At APRIL and RGE, we believe in improving lives through sustainable resource management. We operationalise this purpose through our 5Cs approach. We must do good for the community, country, climate, customers and only then will it be good for the company,” said Mr. Bey, at the GCNS thought leadership dialogue titled “Ensuring a Just and Inclusive Transition, For a More Sustainable World.”

ESG (environmental, social, governance) values are our business imperative at RGE. Across the RGE group of companies, our 2030 targets share common aspirations to drive positive impact on the environment and communities. As stewards of the environment, we seek to go beyond conservation and actively support projects that safeguard biodiversity and nature.
