Vinda’s Sustainability Vision
Since joining the RGE group of companies in 2024, Vinda has introduced its long-term Vinda2035 Sustainability Vision. For Vinda, sustainability is rooted in the belief that better lives are created by respecting and protecting nature, while growing together with employees, communities, and stakeholders.
Aligned with RGE’s purpose of improving lives by developing resources sustainably, Vinda2035 focuses on three priorities:
- Environmental protection
- People development and community prosperity, and
- Responsible product innovation that enhances everyday life for households.
Turning Vision into Action
To translate its sustainability vision into measurable outcomes, Vinda has established a comprehensive sustainability management framework built on resilient governance. This framework is structured around ten United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and categorised under three pillars:
- Sustainable Ecosystems
- Inclusive Prosperity
- Products for Better Lives
Together, these pillars guide Vinda’s environmental, social, and product-related actions, and provide clear targets to track progress.

Pillar 1: Sustainable Ecosystems
Vinda is committed to supporting the global low-carbon transition and promoting responsible resource use. Across its operations, Vinda is continuously optimising production operations with a focus on reducing environmental impact through:
- Emissions reduction initiatives
- Water conservation and efficiency management
- Resource recycling and circular waste solutions
Key actions include expanding renewable energy adoption, such as on-site photovoltaic installations, improving energy efficiency, enhancing water stewardship, and prioritising suppliers that offer non-landfill waste disposal solutions. These measures aim to minimise Vinda’s environmental footprint and promote long-term harmony with nature.
Vinda2035 Targets include:
- A 15% reduction in tissue production emissions intensity
- A 20% reduction in water intensity in tissue production
- At least 70% of operational waste recovered as material or energy

Vinda promotes wellbeing initiatives by providing eldercare and meal delivery services to community residents.
Pillar 2: Inclusive Prosperity
People are central to Vinda’s sustainability strategy. The company is focused on creating a safe, inclusive, and trustworthy workplace that supports employee wellbeing, development, and growth.
Beyond its operations, Vinda actively contributes to community development through initiatives that strengthen everyday wellbeing and extend positive social impact across surrounding communities such as providing eldercare and meal delivery services to the elderly or disabled residents. By investing in these efforts, Vinda aims to empower communities and promote shared, long-term prosperity.
Vinda2035 Targets include:
- 40% representation of women in leadership positions
- A Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) below 0.5 per million working hours
- Community programmes benefiting one million people

Vinda embeds responsible principles throughout product development and packaging design, with the aim of creating products for better lives.
Pillar 3: Products for Better Lives
Vinda believes that products should improve the quality of life while enabling a greener, more sustainable future. Responsible principles are embedded throughout product development, from material selection to packaging design and innovation.
Key product sustainability initiatives include:
- Prioritising using recyclable carton boxes and recyclable polybags/plastic films across most Vinda products
- Optimising wet wipe packaging design to enhance recyclability
- Designing products for social impact, including easy-to-use hygiene products for seniors with limited mobility
Through these efforts, Vinda delivers products that meet evolving social needs while reducing environmental impact.
Vinda2035 Targets include:
- At least 95% recyclable or reusable plastic in Vinda product packaging
- Minimum 30% of new or upgraded products delivering enhanced environmental or social benefits through design and material innovation
