Latest updates on what's happening in RGE Group
For International Women’s Day, we celebrated the voices, leadership, and diverse skills of the women within the RGE family.
From one end of the globe to another, we amplified the stories of women employees—from the multicultural team pioneering the world’s first net-zero LNG facility at WoodFibre LNG, the growing percentage of women in leadership roles to up to 30% at Bracell and APRIL, to the team of women statisticians ensuring smooth operations everyday at Sateri.
Woodfibre LNG
At Woodfibre LNG, remarkable women are helping to shape a new model of LNG facilities. With mentorship, resilience, and bold action, they are taking on workplace safety and equality, reshaping policies, decisions, and workplace structures with the launch of the Gender Safety Advisory Committee, while honouring the local Indigenous community.
With unique perspectives and problem-solving approaches, these women are bringing diverse voices into the construction, engineering, and energy sector, demonstrating that there are no limitations to what women can achieve in any profession.
Bracell and APRIL
Both Bracell and APRIL have incorporated female representation in the workforce as part of their 2030 Inclusive Progress and Empowering Lives goals, with Bracell aiming for 30%, and APRIL already reaching 19% of their target goal of 20%.
Many of these roles fall within traditionally male-dominated fields of heavy machinery, where inspiring young women are taking the challenges in stride and making their own mark in the industry.
Sateri
At Sateri, an all-women team of statisticians ensure the smooth delivery of products and daily operations. With an eye for detail and unique attentiveness, this team makes sure the production chain—from material supply, packaging, to reporting—is accurately tracked and delivered.
As they like to say in the team, “a 0.1% discrepancy is hidden trouble!”
At RGE, we are committed to increasing not just female representation within the workforce, but also mentoring and cultivating our women talent into leaders within their chosen fields, creating a safe space for them to thrive and be heard. Be it on the field or at the office, as a seasoned operator or a fresh-faced creative, we are empowering women to take control of their own narratives in their professional spheres, making sure no one is left behind.
This is not a single chapter, but a continuous goal that we commit to upholding; an everyday celebration of equal opportunities and recognised achievements. Here’s to the women of RGE.
